I graduated as a general physiotherapist in 2019 from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Prior to this, I completed the CIOS program, where my interest in the human body and movement first began. During my studies and internships, I gained extensive experience treating issues related to the lower extremities (from ankle to hip), the spine, and the shoulder.

Since graduating, I have been working with great enthusiasm at Fysio Westerpark. My main focus is on sports-related injuries, with a particular interest in running-related complaints. With a background in athletics—as both a decathlete and coach—I have a deep understanding of the physical demands sports place on the body. I also have experience in providing strength and running training, which I incorporate into my rehabilitation programs to support athletes in returning to their sport safely and effectively.

Personally, I’m an avid athlete with a strong passion for trail running and triathlons. This personal connection to sport allows me to guide my patients with practical insight and a performance-focused approach, always tailored to the individual.

What I love most about my work is collaborating with people. Every person and every case is different; together, we strive to achieve the best possible outcome with a personalized and goal-oriented plan.
