Since October 2021 I have been working as a pelvic physiotherapist at Physiowesterpark. After graduating as a physiotherapist in 1989, my interest and education immediately focused on pelvic complaints around pregnancy.

At that time, the pelvic floor muscles also became more and more known, especially that when these muscles do not function properly, very annoying complaints can arise that can have a major impact on our functioning in daily life. After all, when there are problems with urinating, defecating and sexuality, we often feel disorganized. That is why I completed the training to become a registered pelvic physiotherapist in 2008 and I also work as such.

My motto as a pelvic physiotherapist is that of Maria Montessori: “Teach me to do it myself”. I therefore hope to give you enough advice and exercises during the treatments, so that you can become your own therapist and manage your complaints yourself (with the help of me).

I am married with 2 adult children who have already moved out. In my free time I like to spend walking and cycling in nature and I love skiing and sailing.
